Who is responsible for your data
Owners Bench is the trading name of Eduardo Isaí Laborín Marín, an individual (sole proprietor) based in Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico. For anything about your personal data, write to hello@ownersbench.com.
What we collect
- When you buy: your name, email address and, if you choose to give it, a phone number — so we can deliver your access and reach you if a payment fails. Your card details and billing country are collected by our payment processor, Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
- When you use the courses: which lessons you've watched, your exam results and any certificate we issue, so you can pick up where you left off and we can verify a certificate when someone asks.
- When you email us: your email address and whatever you write to us.
- When you browse: standard analytics and advertising signals. We use the Meta (Facebook) pixel to measure whether our ads work. It may set cookies and receive the pages you visited here and, if you purchase, a purchase confirmation (amount, currency and a hashed version of your email). Video lessons are streamed by Bunny.net, which receives your IP address to play the video.
What we use it for
- Creating your account and delivering the course you bought (confirmation page and access email).
- Support, refunds and help getting back into your account.
- Issuing and verifying certificates.
- Measuring advertising, so we don't waste money showing ads to the wrong people.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers we need to run the academy, each strictly for its own job:

We don't sell your data and we don't share it with anyone else. We don't send marketing email unless you bought from us or asked us to, and every such email has an unsubscribe link.
Advertising opt-out: if you do not want the Meta pixel to receive your visits, use an ad blocker, adjust your Meta ad settings, or email us and we will exclude your email from any ad audience.
Your rights
Email hello@ownersbench.com and we will show you, correct, delete or stop using the personal data we hold about you, or withdraw a consent you gave — whichever you ask. We answer within 48 hours and resolve the request within the legal deadline (20 business days under Mexico's Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties, LFPDPPP, which grants the rights of access, rectification, cancellation and objection — "ARCO"). Depending on where you live, for example California or the European Union, you may have additional statutory rights; we honor reasonable requests from anyone, anywhere, without making you cite a statute.
Data retention
Purchase records are kept as long as Mexican tax law requires. Your course account and progress are kept for as long as you have access (lifetime), or until you ask us to delete them. Support emails are kept for two years. Advertising cookies expire on Meta's standard schedule; you can clear them in your browser at any time.
Security
All traffic is encrypted (HTTPS). There are no passwords to leak: you sign in with a one-time link or code sent to your email. Course content and your progress are protected by per-user access rules in our database.
Changes
Any change to this policy will be posted on this page with a new date.
